Q: I’ve never done anything like this before; is experience required?
A: No, not at all. Some of our members started at the club never having any type of “fight” training experience. While all our programs are designed by experienced fighters, we understand that many of our members are just looking to get in great shape.
Q: Is it mostly guys training there or are there female members as well?
A: Many of our members are male; however there are plenty of female members at the club as well. We pride ourselves on our strong sense camaraderie and community, so regardless of your age, skill level, or sex, you’ll feel welcome.
Q: Is sparring /contact required?
A: No, absolutely not. Many of our members choose not to do it – but if you do, it will be done with great care. Safety is our goal, so should you decide to step into the ring, it will be under strict supervision.
A: Never! Anyone can do it, at any age. It’s never to late to get started.
Your a Woman and interested, but afraid it’s too tough.
It’s like going to a boot camp in the army. It’s safe. You won’t get hurt. Though, but you work at your own pace. This program will get you in shape and make you feel physically (and yes even mentally) stronger. Get fit and lose weight as you train your body’s reactions. A great start to learn some Self Defense.
Q: Will this give me a Challenge?
A: The drive of not giving up, the focus, sweat, determination and accomplishment that each workout gives you. You want to come back for more.
Q: I’VE NEVER BOXED IN MY LIFE, CAN I DO THIS?
A: YES, YOU CAN! Boxing is all about technique so once you pick up the basic punches, footwork and moves you will be fine. We do a lot of repetition until you get it right. What are you waiting for? Try it, you will be hooked!!!
